Connect Claude

Connect Claude to Learning Paths

Connect Claude Desktop (or any MCP-compatible client) to your Learning Paths account so it can read your profile and the team directory, and search, save, and manage your highlights.

1. Copy your MCP server URL
You'll paste this into Claude in the next step.

2. Add it as a custom connector in Claude
  1. Open Claude Desktop and go to Settings.
  2. Find Connectors (sometimes listed under Developer or Custom Connectors).
  3. Click Add custom connector and paste in the URL you copied above.
  4. A browser window will open showing a sign-in page. Click Sign in with Google and approve with the same Google account you use for Learning Paths.
  5. You'll be redirected back to Claude, and the connector will show as connected.
3. Try it out
Once connected, just ask Claude naturally — for example:
  • “Show me my recent highlights”
  • “Save this page as a highlight with the note ...”
  • “Who's on the team directory in engineering?”

What Claude can do once connected.
  • get_profileLook up a profile by username or userId.
  • list_profilesList the team directory, optionally filtered by role.
  • list_highlightsList your highlights, most recent first.
  • save_highlightSave a new highlight.
